We visit our friends, enjoy the fireworks, light some firecrackers and make a snowman in the backyard.
But the best part of the evening are the presents, for sure. This year I want Grandfather Frost and his granddaughter Snegurocha to bring me a new bike. My name is Nathi. It is a family holiday so my parents and I visit our relatives. We like to spend the day outdoors because the weather is nice and sunny. The biggest one is in Cape Town where you can party together with 80 people. In the evening we enjoy the fireworks and light some firecrackers. There are some funny traditions, too.
In some towns people throw old furniture through the windows for good luck. Therefore, you must be very careful not to get hit on the head by an old chair. It is celebrated on the January 2. Today we sing and dance through the streets dressed in colourful clothes and have fun.

We all had a fantastic day, walking to, and back from Lindisfarne. Patrick, you made the day so special. Your knowledge of the historic milestones in this area-top class. The light, scenery and wildlife were also incredible-thanks again Steve and family.

Patrick led us on a walk starting close to the village of Ingram and headed across the moors towards Chesters and then onto Little Dodd. He pointed out the historic forts and settlements along the way as well his knowledge of the landscape and features We have had a wonderful walk across the pilgrims route to Lindisfarne with Patrick today. Having such a knowledgable guide really enhanced the experience for us.
Once on the island and refuelled with coffee and a sandwich we then went to see the wildflower meadows Hi Beverley, thank you for your review, it is very much appreciated.
The Pilgrim's Way walk has been enhanced recently by the beauty of the wildflowers blooming in the wilder areas of Lindisfarne, so it was a great day for a walk, the stunning scenery It was an excellent day and Patrick is very knowledgeable about history and wildlife. The walk up from Craster is a great way to discover the Northumberland Coast and as you say the strength of the wind on the way back from Lindisfarne on the Pilgrim's Way made it Wanted to do the walk with a knowledgeable guide to get the most from the experience and Patrick and the weather really delivered here.
Due to a cancellation there was only the two of us, but the walk made so much more a memorable experience Thank you for your review and we certainly had a good day for our walk. The Pilgrim's Way offers such a lot, space, great light, a sense of adventure and plenty of wildlife too. Yesterday I made a daytrip walk with Patrick in the Cheviot hills of Northumberland. It was fantastic. The views were wonderful, Patrick is a very relaxed guide, who tells about history and nature and shares his passion for the environment. It was a great day, lots of wildlife and the goats were just great. Many travelers wait to cross the causeway either side of low tide to access the Island of Lindisfarne.
